2. Overview

We process only the personal data needed to operate this website and to handle your enquiries. This website uses no cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising, embeds no third-party content (no maps, videos or social-media plugins) and transfers no data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is operated as web hosting at Hostinger in a data centre in Germany; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. When pages are requested, the following data are processed automatically: IP address, date and time, page requested, status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating-system details. The purpose is to keep the service running, stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest. The connection is encrypted with TLS.

4. Fonts

The fonts used are delivered from our own server. No connection is made to Google or any other font provider.

5. Contact form

If you use the contact form, we process your name, organisation, email address, the topic selected, your message and the time of your consent. The details are delivered by email to info@remotenetworksolutions.eu and used solely to handle your enquiry. The legal bases are your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, checkbox in the form), the performance of pre-contractual measures (point (b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (point (f)). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. We delete your details once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention duties (e.g. section 257 HGB, section 147 AO) apply. Name, email address and message are mandatory; without them we cannot process your enquiry.

6. Protection against spam and abuse

To protect the form from automated requests we use a hidden field (honeypot), a minimum completion time, a small computation in the browser (proof of work, on our own web space) and a limit on requests per IP address. No third-party services are used. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Contacting us directly by email

If you write to us by email, we process your sender details and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Please note that unencrypted emails can be read in transit.

8. Recipients

Your data are received only by us and by technical service providers for hosting and email operation, who act as processors on our instructions. We do not pass data on for advertising purposes. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to withdraw consent given (Art. 7(3)). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To do so, contact info@remotenetworksolutions.eu.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
